Orbit Culture
Sweden's melodic death metal force crushed their first North American headlining run. The Opera House never stood a chance.
Here's a snapshot of what went down when Orbit Culture hosted their North American tour on March 3, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada — part of the band's first major headlining run promoting their latest album Death Above Life, released on October 3, 2025. Support came from Ov Sulfur and Atlas, adding layers of blackened deathcore and melodic hardcore/metalcore to the bill before the headliners hit the stage. Fans were in for a night of powerful riffs, intense vocals, and high energy. Up first were Atlas, a Finnish metal band inspired by Finnish mythology and poetry combined with dark soundscapes and modern metal. Next up were American blackened deathcore band Ov Sulfur out of Las Vegas — their new album Endless dropped January 16th through Century Media Records. Their opening track "Endless//Godless" will rip your face off, while "Wither," a ballad included later in the set, will leave you with your eyes watering. The headliner for the evening was Orbit Culture, a melodic death metal band from Eksjo, Sweden. The band came out firing on all cylinders. The fans started crowd surfing right away and a big circle pit started to form. They've always had that huge cinematic sound on record, but live it hits different — tighter, heavier, and way more intense. Niklas' vocals are ridiculous in person, and the groove in those riffs just punches you in the chest. Catching a band on their first headlining tour here is special too — you can feel the hunger. Their performance proved they are not just a great studio band, but a legit live force as well. Get out and see live music. Live music is always better. And always Listen to Metal.
